Now in its third year, ‘Inspired Spaces North’ is the brainchild of Prolific North, and celebrates the most inspiring work environments in the top *best* half of the country, so naturally we’re chuffed to be involved.
For those not in the know, last year we undertook a pretty mammoth project, transforming a 6,500ft derelict space in Leeds City Centre to the studio of our dreams. You can read more about the transformation here, but here’s a quick summary;
The brief was simple:
To create an environment not only conducive to producing great digital but also providing the facilities that make coming to work feel… well, not like work.
The space was far from simple:
We faced a number of challenges before we even began. It was bigger than we’d intended and also in pretty bad state of disrepair, requiring all the core services such as heating, electrics and plumbing installing from scratch before we could even start to think about more exciting things such as design and layout. But alas, we got there in the end!

The award
The next step in the process is a public vote to whittle the shortlist down to the final 10, with the winner being announced at Prolific North’s Wrap Party in November 😬
