Salary

£24,000 - £28,000 depending on skills and experience

Hours and location

This is a full-time role based in Leeds, UK. We offer hybrid working and flexible hours to everyone in the team, but this is not a fully remote opportunity and we require you to be in the office for at least 3 days a week.

What we’re looking for

As an Account Executive, you play a vital role in supporting the Client Services team, ensuring the smooth running of accounts and the successful delivery of projects. Working closely with Account Managers, you will assist in project setup, resourcing, invoicing, and campaign coordination.

You will develop strong organisational skills, Attention to digital™, and an understanding of digital marketing and project management. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to grow their career in account management.

Responsibilities

General

  • Assist Account Managers and Account Directors in the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Set up projects within the agency’s project management software, ensuring all details are correctly captured.
  • Support with financial administration, including invoicing and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ensure time logging is completed in line with company policy.
  • Maintain high attention to detail across all work.
  • Work collaboratively across teams, ensuring alignment on project needs.
  • Look for opportunities to improve efficiency and support the wider Client Services team.
  • Facilitate a collaborative and harmonious team effort for those working on your accounts

Building relationships

  • Work closely with Account Managers and Account Directors to support client needs.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with teams across the agency to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Support with client communications, ensuring responses are timely and professional.
  • Assist in organising client meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, and following up on actions.

Communication

  • Maintain and monitor digital channels of communication, including Basecamp, Email, Productive, and Slack.
  • Support in preparing for and attending client status meetings, ensuring key points and actions are recorded.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and updates for clients and internal teams.
  • Keep communication clear, concise, and aligned with agency best practices.

Knowing your clients

  • Develop an understanding of client businesses, their goals, and challenges.
  • Keep up to date with relevant industry trends that may impact client work.
  • Assist in monitoring client projects, ensuring all deliverables align with expectations.

Commercial

  • Support Account Managers and Account Directors with tracking project budgets and ensuring financial processes run smoothly.
  • Assist in the preparation of estimates for small campaign work or retained services.
  • Develop an understanding of commercial processes, including forecasting and revenue tracking.

Some experience or knowledge of agency operations, digital marketing, or project coordination is beneficial but not essential.
