This is a full-time role based in Leeds, UK. We offer hybrid working and flexible hours to everyone in the team, but this is not a fully remote opportunity. The role will require you to work from our office in Leeds for at least 3 days each week.

What we’re looking for
As a Paid Media Manager you’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads, and Programmatic Display. Working closely with the Head of PPC, Senior Paid Manager and wider teams, the role involves leading client strategies, managing day-to-day campaign performance, mentoring junior team members, and delivering measurable results aligned with client goals. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are essential to drive growth and maintain high standards of digital performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Campaign planning
- To plan and execute campaigns across the below primary channels:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
- Google Ads
- Microsoft Ads
- Display / Programmatic
- TikTok (Desired)
- You’ll be expected to set the long term strategy for your clients’ accounts in relation to hitting key client goals, producing forecasts to support these goals.
Optimisations and day to day management
- Keeping on top of all aspects of Paid media campaign management, including (but not limited to) the below.
- Keywords
- Ad copy
- Bids
- Bid strategies
- Placements
- Audiences
- To plan and maintain retainer and project work for work you’re involved in.
- Flagging risks early regarding work output or profitability to Senior Paid Managers or to the Head of Paid.
- Looking for opportunities to grow accounts by up or cross-selling relevant services.
- Ensure we use best practice guidelines with our business objectives in mind
Client communication
- To maintain a high level of professionalism when representing Engage and working with clients. Responsibilities here include:
- Updating clients on progress, results and plans.
- Asking for monthly feedback on the value of our output.
- Be both polite and professional in all forms of communication with clients.
- You’ll be expected to lead on client calls, setting the direction for strategy on Paid media accounts.
Reporting
- Being able to report on the success of campaigns.
- Working on setting KPIs for clients.
- Providing performance analysis in weekly, monthly or QBR meetings.
- Write insightful commentary on performance and how Paid media is trending across wider digital performance, giving direction or suggestions on next steps to improve performance.
