PGL has been using the power of adventures to inspire young people and families for over 65 years. Their Family Adventures and Kids-only Adventure Holidays help them to discover their potential and create memories that last a lifetime.

We were tasked with bringing these adventures to life via Social Content and Paid Social - developing a strategy-driven approach that aligned with their other marketing activity as they approached their first true ‘post-lockdown’ summer.

What did we do?

With ideas up to heeeeere, we planned and produced a range of content solutions to bring adventures to their Consumer-focused social channels. From Instagram stickers, interactive quizzes and polls to 3D animations and bespoke video content for Tiktok, we ensured all touchpoints made our audiences feel like they were right there on the zipwire with us.

For Paid Social we had a focus on both Consumer and Recruitment. For consumers, we created content to build awareness of PGL Holidays to drive awareness and bookings whereas our Recruitment campaigns specifically reached relevant audiences to drive job applications for PGL Centre vacancies.

The results made us feel like we’d just conquered the climbing wall, if we do say so ourselves! Not only have we increased PGL’s Facebook engagement by 47% and received 434K views on our Instagram stickers, we also managed to make some noise on Tiktok, generating over 30k views from scratch - all in just 3 months.

And that’s not the only bullseye we’ve hit. Our Paid Social strategy saw us generating a ROI of 2.1, up from 0.7 when we first took over their campaigns. That’s a 200% increase!

We utilised our platform tools and A/B tested along the way to refine and find opportunities to diversify our audiences and content to optimise ROI.
