4 days, 4 holidays, 8 flights. Could we deliver Jet2holidays a campaign to help engage their audience over the Easter period whilst also giving away some great prizes?
We quickly swapped our thinking caps for bunny ears and got to work!
We wanted to create something memorable, fun and engaging that was also immediately recognisable as being Jet2holidays. We quickly came up with a game mechanic which placed a cute little bunny in a busy airport terminal. Our bunny’s mission: Collect all the golden eggs! Each one placed mischievously in and around a huge number of obstacles intent on getting in the way.
Easy to pick up, but hard to master, the game featured an infinite play area. As your little bunny hopped further through the level, more obstacles appeared. How long could players last before they ran out of luck? Quite a long time as it turned out!
Built using web technologies, the game was fully responsive, working flawlessly across mobile, tablet and desktop devices meaning that everybody could join in on the fun.
With a different holiday to be won each day of the Baggage Hop campaign, social media updates were crucial to building anticipation and excitement over the challenge ahead. Short animations were created to promote each prize on offer, along with snappy How to play videos and general teasers promoting the game overall.
