The brand is committed to developing expertly crafted whisky, gin and vodka infused with passion and creativity which reflects the inventiveness and diversity of the UK’s capital.

The challenge

While London Square Spirits talked to bartenders across the capital to discover what they wanted - top-quality, modern and London-centric spirits that can be used in a cocktail or enjoyed on their own, if you were wondering - there was still a crucial job to do in encouraging consumers to buy into the London Square lifestyle.

People don’t just want a nice tasting drink, they want lasting memories and nights out that they’re guaranteed to remember. We can confirm that London Square Spirit’s delicious beverages definitely offer a night to remember, but its social channels didn’t accurately reflect this.

Low follower numbers, and low engagement on posts left consumers with a somewhat unprofessional first impression of the brand.

This is where we came in to provide a new strategy that showcased what the brand is about and encouraged people to have a taste of the creativity that London has to offer.

The solution

After much brainstorming (fuelled by cocktails from London Square Spirits) we designed and created a best in class experience which focussed on five main elements:

• Consistent and considered use of brand elements, a distinct tone of voice, instantly recognisable feed & theming, and making sure we weren’t overly reliant on product images.

• Topical questions, conversation starters, polls, and share-worthy competitions.

• Premium cocktail recipes, garnish inspiration and serving guides so that consumers could enjoy a premium experience from the comfort of their own home.

• Tapping into the London-centric focus with location guides, street art photography, cultural events, local drinking guides, and initiatives to support local creatives.

• Authentic content which focussed on lifestyle, product and cocktail photography.

Of course we couldn’t have done this without timely content that suited the brand’s tone of voice, a regular content plan so that posting was no longer sporadic, and lifestyle photography to give a face to London Square Spirits and make it feel more relatable and exciting.

London Square Spirits saw the number of followers across its social channels increase by 61% in the first three months, a 25% increase in impressions, and a 6.2% engagement rate on Instagram.
